Flynn Skidmore LLC
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work across our offerings. By purchasing a membership or enrolling in a mentorship coaching program, you agree to the terms below. Please read it carefully and keep a copy for your records.
This policy is divided into two sections because our offerings work differently:
- Section 1 — Membership (ongoing recurring subscription)
- Section 2 — Mentorship Coaching (one-on-one and small group, fixed 3- or 6-month terms)
A final section covers terms that apply to all purchases.
Section 1 — Membership Subscription
Our membership is an ongoing subscription billed on a recurring basis. Depending on the plan you select, billing may be monthly, quarterly, biannual, or annual, and your subscription renews automatically at the start of each billing cycle until you cancel.
Our General Position on Membership Refunds
Membership fees are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time, and you keep full access for the rest of the period you've already paid for. Because cancellation is self-service and available to you at all times, we do not issue refunds simply because a member forgot they had an active subscription, didn't realize a renewal was coming, or stopped using the membership. It is each member's responsibility to manage their own subscription and cancel before a renewal date if they no longer wish to continue.
When You Cancel
When you cancel, your subscription is set to expire at the end of your current billing cycle. You will continue to have full access to all membership content until that date. Cancelling stops future billing — it does not refund or prorate the current period you've already paid for.
Free Trial (When Offered)
From time to time we offer a 7-day trial. A trial is only available if it is clearly stated as being offered at the time of signup. When a trial applies, the terms of that trial will be made clear at checkout. If no trial is mentioned at the time you join, no trial applies to your purchase.
When a Refund Is Available
We will review and, where appropriate, issue a refund only in the case of a genuine billing or subscription error on our side, specifically:
- Duplicate charges — where you were charged more than once for the same subscription in error.
- Charges after cancellation — where you were billed after cancelling, provided there is confirmation that the cancellation was actually completed by you (for example, a cancellation confirmation from Circle).
What Is Not Eligible for a Refund
- Two active subscriptions on one account. Circle allows more than one subscription to exist on a single account, and a second subscription can only be created by the member. We are not liable for duplicate subscriptions a member sets up themselves. If you believe you may have more than one active subscription, please check your account and cancel any you don't need.
- Forgetting, non-use, or being unaware of a renewal. Because you can cancel at any time, these are not grounds for a refund.
- The current billing period after cancellation. Cancelling ends future billing only; the period you've already paid for is not refunded or prorated.
How to Cancel Your Subscription in Circle
Full instructions are always available in the Welcome & Walkthroughs space. To cancel:
- On desktop, click your profile picture or initials in the top-right corner.
- Navigate to the Billing page in the top menu.
- Click the three dots (•••) icon to the right of the subscription and select Cancel.
- Click Confirm cancellation.
Once you confirm, your subscription is set to expire at the end of your current billing cycle, and you'll keep access to all membership content until then.
How to Update Your Payment Method in Circle
- On desktop, click your profile picture or initials in the top-right corner.
- Navigate to the Billing page in the top menu.
- Click Payment Methods.
- Click Edit to the right of your current payment method, or Add Payment Method.
If You See "0 Subscriptions"
If your account shows "0 Subscriptions," your subscription is managed through Spiffy (our previous payment processor). In that case, you can cancel your membership and update your payment method in the customer portal.
Important: Do Not Deactivate Your Account to Cancel
Deactivating your account within Circle will NOT stop your subscription. To cancel, follow the cancellation steps above. If you'd like your account erased, please email hello@flynnskidmore.com for support. If you have any questions or trouble logging in, the fastest way to reach us is the same address.
Section 2 — Mentorship Coaching (One-on-One & Small Group)
Our mentorship coaching programs run on fixed terms of 3 or 6 months and can be paid either in monthly installments or as a single payment in full. The terms below apply to both one-on-one and small group coaching.
Payment Comes Before Service — and Is Non-Refundable for Services Provided
Payment for mentorship is collected before the corresponding services are provided. Your payments reserve Flynn's schedule, time, and availability. For this reason, no refunds are offered for coaching services that have already been provided, and no refunds are offered for any payment once it has been made.
Non-Refundable Deposit
The first payment is a non-refundable deposit that reserves your spot in the program. This deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances once paid.
Cancelling — 14 Days' Notice
You may cancel future participation by giving at least 14 days' notice before your next scheduled payment.
- If you pay in monthly installments: giving 14 days' notice before your next payment releases you from all future payments. You will not be charged again. There is no refund for payments already made.
- If you cancel with fewer than 14 days before your next payment: you remain responsible for that upcoming payment. Because your payments reserve Flynn's schedule, time, and services, the 14-day window is what allows you to avoid the next charge. There is no refund for cancelling inside the 14-day window.
- If you paid in full upfront: because you have no future installments, the 14-day notice has nothing to release you from. Payment has already been made in full for the reserved term, and it is non-refundable.
Remaining Calls After You Cancel
Coaching calls occur on an individual cadence within each payment period. If you cancel with the required 14 days' notice but still have a call remaining within the period you've already paid for, you may either:
- Use that remaining call, or
- Forfeit it.
The choice is yours, but no portion of a payment is refunded whether or not you use the remaining call.
Extenuating Circumstances
We understand life happens. Genuine extenuating circumstances are considered on a case-by-case basis at Flynn Skidmore LLC's discretion. Reaching out does not guarantee a refund or change to these terms, but we're always willing to talk. Please contact hello@flynnskidmore.com.
Terms That Apply to All Purchases
Reporting a Billing Issue
If you believe you've been charged in error, email us at hello@flynnskidmore.com within 30 days of the charge. Charges reported after 30 days may not be eligible for review.
Payments and Currency
Payments are processed by Stripe and charged in US Dollars (USD). (Memberships previously set up through our former processor, Spiffy, are managed as described in Section 1.)
Chargebacks and Disputes
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first at hello@flynnskidmore.com and allow us to work toward a resolution. Please do not file a dispute or chargeback with your bank or card issuer before contacting us and giving us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. Filing a chargeback without first reaching out — or while a resolution is still in progress — may result in suspension or termination of your access pending review.
Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to override any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your country or region. Where local law grants you rights that cannot be waived (for example, statutory cancellation or "cooling-off" rights in certain jurisdictions), those rights continue to apply.
Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to This Policy
Flynn Skidmore LLC may update this policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. Material changes will be communicated through our usual channels.
